I'm trying to replace my dizzy cap of a 86 1.3sb but both caps iv got so far (intermotor 44860, and unknown xd132) seem to be around 5mm too short compared to the delco remy one already fitted. The delco one doesn't have a code no on it so do I try vaux for a replacement? Nether had this problem before so are there different dizzys on the 1.3 engines?

Any help is greatful

Richard

it should be the standard black delco one with 2 small screws..

Both the ones I have look just like that but when compared to the delco their slightly shorter.

The inside looks slightly different but just slightly. It goes over the dizzy but doesn't pull upto the screw holes, It does without the rotor attached but not with it attached. Like I say there's a few mm in it.
