Just like to know which Were available for the E16SE/C16SE.. Or If There were/are any forms which chip the standard ECU and what would be to gain? Thanks

None, due to the way the ECU works IIRC
They could be chipped. The C16SE at least has a socketed chip, this is the C14SE though the electronics are the same:

That said, I doubt anyone is bothering as the gains would be minimal. If you're going to go mad then you might as well look to going aftermarket ecu wise.
agreed... if you have a bosch ecu, it is down to sticking different resistors in, to modify the rev limit & the fueling.... hardly accurate.. go mappable.
Ahh right only I've got hold of a chipped ECU. It does actually say mapped or chipped by 'Joe bloggs development' just wondered how this particular type would work. Thanks
'Chiiped brains' used to be spoken of very highly. lol
"Aye mate, it's all Superchipped n that..." 3 BHP extra. Go on!

Cheers Jonlem.. I Just went on Superchips sight and noticed :) on a standard engine it claims 6bhp increase.
On those engines, it's likely to be more about raising the rev limit or if they did custom jobs back then to change the characteristics. Perhaps for specific driving like tarmac, rally or time trial events.
