Standard engine was just shy of 200bhp :). Did 0-60 in under 6 seconds and would pull to 150 fairly happily.

Not bad for a conversion that is literally a straight swap, swap the 200 subframes for the 220 ones and the Engine goes straight in. Donor car only cost about £300 too and had everything needed.

What were the tech specs of the Camera/Photo?

Canon 450d, kit lens on that shot iirc. HDR'ed 1/3, 1/13, 1.3 all F7 according to the data on the source images

Ive always prefered them most out of the MR2 models. Espiecially with some splits. Its pretty well classed J-Tin now i would assume.

Thought should go fairly well then! Well understated cars, the turbos.

If ever you fancy selling one at anytime, id like to be first on the list. Just done a quick search and found a promissing one local to me. But i dont have room at the moment :(

Cheers, not everyone's cup of tea but I've been in love with Mk1s since about 1988 when I was 7! Mine has a few trick bits to make it stand out though, wide arches, wheels, supercharger engine lid, LED brake light spolier, US spec rear lights. Shame about the exhaust, lets the side down! :thumb:

that was the result of a minor off i had, that poor old cav sri went roof to roof 6 times in a barrel roll (that pic was the good side). Luckily all i hurt was the tendon on my little finger, oh and the feelings of my mother as i rang her for a lift back home as i had a 'small bump', needless to say she wasnt amused at my assessment lol .

The boss man wasnt amused after seeing what i had done either, as i turned up to work the next day in the mother-in-laws red cav lol lol lol

i still have the m535i of that lot.also got the fiat coupe 16vt (lancia delta integrale engine,stg1 twin intercoolers,2.5" straight through exhaust etc...) that you can see just in front of it on the left,the blue bit lol.and i just picked up a nova 1.2i for £75 and am thinking baby xe conversion for that.
those are just a selection of my cars in the last 10 years or so.i change cars a LOT!

I much prefered the carlton, although the GTi had a 1.9 tall block and a big valve head. Went like stink but shook the fillings out of your teeth lol
