i know i ve just bought the cup mirrors as well cant really ask them for a 100 poundsthey cost like £40 the car is round my mates so dont know if there is any damage to the door he has nt spotted i dont think it will have damaged the hole in the door when it ripped out will it?
Good of them to leave a note, most people would have just buggered off.

id be happy they left there details and not drove off, shows there honest and admitting liability,i would contact them and tell them you appreciate them leaving details but the damage is minimal and not worth the hassle but thankyou for being honest,
imo a**e raping them for ££££££ isnt a honest thing to do but im a honest person plus them mirrors are garbage anyway so i wouldnt be mad think of it as an ideal time to upgrade or charge them £20 for a realistic set of used mirrors,
be honest if it was on the other hand think if you were them what would you have done if noone was about????????????
lol i would have left a set of standard nova mirrors and the site's URL lol

I blame this thread for jinxing me lol
Had a woman come to my desk this morning to say she'd parked next to me (the celica) in the car park and the wind had caught her door and blown it into my drivers door, leaving a dent. Had all her details down on a bit of paper ready to give to me to sort out the repairs; she was in a bit of a state actually, probably thought I was going to go mental at her or something. Totally threw her off guard when I said thanks for letting me know but its really no problem as I've got a spare door to go on that side anyway so its no big deal at all... in fact she's doing me a favour as it gives me a reason to get on with the door swap lol
[edit] Having said all that, I just checked my spare door to find my parents have moved it and crammed it between chairs/washbaskets in the conservatory and scratched the sh!t out of it in the process. FFS!

Spot on, you were just lucky they left a note. I had my wing mirror knocked off yesterday, its pretty knackered now and needs replacing.
