Yes i did leave a message on his facebook, bought him a card and a small token pressie,also bought "red" on bluray for us both to watch tonight, and the steak will have to wait , he can cook it cos if it's left to me it will only be fit to sole his shoes.

editted.. i have an american pancake recipe that i will share with you all later. it gets cooked, not fried, in a non-stick pan. it is dead easy, my kids have been making them for years... i still have to clean the mess up though...........

Just last month was my last one on one session with the addictive behavior counsellor.

I went the whole of Jan without any alcohol. I dont class myself as a huge drinker but I thought I would try it...

I think I found it the hardest when people around me were drinking.. or if I had a bad day at work. A soft drink just doesnt quite cut it when your stressed out

for the pancake lovers.....

here is
Mowgli's american style Pancake recipe



1½ cups of white plain flour
¾ cup of brown self raising flour
10ml (2tsp) baking powder
30ml (2tbsp) caster sugar
3 eggs
11 floz milk
5 floz vegetable oil
Method


Mix it all up in a big bowl & cook them

cooking tip time.... only put a tiny drop of oil in the pan to start the first pancake.. cook the rest dry. i have an infra red hob & cook them on 1/2 heat. when the little bubbles appear on the top, turn it over.

if you have an electric waffle maker, it makes ace waffles too...
