battery light

i need some help when i got my saloon the battery light stayed on. so i changed the fan belt but i still have the problem. could my alternator need replacing???

yes... or there is a fault on the ign switch. swap the alt first.

or the earth lead on it might not be gettin a good conection

check earths ( battery,gearbox,alt bracket) then if no good try a differant alt :thumb:
