put the full gsi setup in.
the sri head will fit ok but i dont know how it will run. i have only done the opposite in the past, ie. gsi head on 1400 block.

it wont FUCK compression

it will raise it

by how much would need to be calculated

you'll need to measure the piston dish volume, head dish volume and calculate the compression

im guessing 1400 head on 1600 will prolly give 11.5-12 to 1 compression which is prolly a bitty high and u may encounter detonation issues

how wud i recify these detonation issues i was also gunna have the head skimmed will that do owt special
am a bit of a newbie regardin engines electrics is more me thing me old boy does me mechanics 4 me like

aragorn iv gone into this issue before and the compression levels were not lookin good, especialy as most heads have been skimmed adding more..
