My Nova Track car 2011

Well having been offered quite a few shells recently and so i picked this one up on my travels at the end of January. K Plate SRI with a 2.0 16v in. Has been quite well looked after and seems to be pretty solid throughout so decided it was a keeper.

Plans to get either the Redtop running again or go the whole hog and put a C20LET in. Fully stripped out, roll cage, strut braces, Turbo front brakes, disc back axle, poly bushed and fit my Spax Rsx Coilovers.
Plan to run Semi Slicks round the track this time to help get better grip, and also add a whiteline rear anti-roll bar and possibly be the donor/test car for a Whiteline Front anti-roll bar.

Managed to finally get something done to it today.
Fitted coilovers, fitted grey gsi bumper, fitted cav slabs and gave it a wee clean. Also going to put my personal plate on it.

Yeh, i also managed to get the a newer wing and the white gsi bumper on the Lreger but that is all for now :roll:

Been doing a little on this today, stripped out interior ready for painting the inside.
Fitted spax rsx rear shockies and springs, fitted sideskirts and started on my track decals :d Got rear safety devices cage from DC1984 so thats temporarily in place aswell.
The LET idea has gone out the window for now but a recent purchase of some throttle bodies and a Magnex 4-1 manifold combined with chipped ecu and cams should see good power.

Change of wheels, cavy slabs dont allow enough cool air into the brakes for the track so have got Softstars for the road and Twinspokes for the track.
Sourced a 4-1 manifold and a set of Dbilas throttle bodies to get a wee bit more out the valver for now. :d

Was liking the slabs Balley but not wanting to keep cooking brakes on the track so had to go :( A garage across the road ran them on there track corsa which kept cooking brakes, changed the wheels for more open one and problem solved :thumb:

Aye moffat they will fit over the brakes these twinspokes are 15s and not the 14s we put on the L reg :d

Got the measurements done for the rear ones, just simply a corsa b one with a slight mod. Hopefully if i ever get the car up to my work and up on the ramp we can get cracking :thumb:

Garden and Daughter is taking up most of my spare time so bit by bit i'l get there lol
Rocker and cam covers are getting done black, plug cover, braces and wheels are getting done anthracite.
Eventually all the rest of the underside parts will get powder coated anthracite aswell but this will be over next winter.
Yep IPF is still our coater of choice and will get a wee advertising slot on the car for his help :d
