He was pretty lucky TBF, when we walked on stage, we all rekoned this huge hole at the end of the straight would catch someone out. We were standing the other end when it happened. :(

oh yes, mucho humour friday night with gt5 warfare splitscrene stylee, then onto saturday, which as normal meant a long day bantering amongst the rally cars. Its something that has been done for far more years than i care to remember but is always a great laugh. Again pics taken on shonky small camera but turned out ok lol

Yeah, he was a tad over exuberant, he lost his bumper on serridge1 by performing half a Scandinavian flick (ie flicked it left for a right hander, but just ended up stuffing it into the left hand bank lol)

Aye, Burton won it again :) That was his sixth win I believe, but that pug is no more as the regs have outlawed it (typical).

the midlands rally is based in hinckley, but runs in the summer, as a mix of gravel & tarmac stages.

the freelanders were running in it, as were a couple of discovery2's, but i didn't see a defender.. there is a seperate class for them.

rally organisers like to get a lot of entrants to help make it pay...

Some really good action shots there peeps, i do the 'yorkshire rally' with Andy and i know how hard it is to time your shots correctly and you usually only get your timing and markers figured out by the end of the day so your 'am' shots are usually poo and your early 'pm' shots aint much better lol


Rallies as i have found out from going with Andy, are a good day out and even better when you make a weekend of it with mates you dont regularly see:thumb:
