I have 2 fuel tanks and wondered how to tell the difference between them ? I think one is a carb and one a gsi. Can you tell if there is a swirl pot inside by looking onto it??
Thanks

The gsi tank has a bolt in sender at the back and a pot inside the tank where the sender fits

the spi tank is also different and has a twist style sender to the rear and a 6 bolt pump fitting at the top with a swirl pot(incase its not a gsi you have):thumb:

Any pics if the swirl pot would help please :thumb: Looking in from the sender hole I can see something round to the left in both, one is metal and plastic in the other tank, is that the swirl pot?
It's definently not a spi tank.
