Non vauxhall!! So read on if your still interested.

Right so I have set myself the above challenge.

My derv is a non PD 110bhp 8v. Mk4 5dr Golf in black.. (Stealth FTW)

Doing a bit of research I can take it beyond 200bhp and it'll still be more reliable and fuel efficient than a PD! lol

So this all started with getting my head rebuilt and getting into the internals and seeing that the EGR and the Inlet was mega blocked and sooted up as it's never been ragged!! The bottom end is IMMACULATE! seriously bore's are mint still with the honing marks everything!

My shopping list is...

Gen VAG Parts list

150 Inlet manifold
150 Intercooler
150 turbo intake pipe (inlet on the turbo to the MAF and airbox)
150 map sensor
150 ARL turbo
150 Red turbo outlet pipe
216 injector tips
1.8t Pancake Pipe
VR6 clutch
G60 flywheel

The annoying expensive bits!

Custom remap (Motech Performance)
Turbo back miltek (might go custom)
150 Egr delete pipe
SFS EGR to intercooler pipe
stainless down pipe

Apparently with the above it's been known for the 8v 110 to run between 220-260 with mega boost to reach 260.

So I'd be happy to slot just above 200bhp and keep the strain off my turbo!

Edited. lol

Tuning boxes??? The PD's are remapped via the diagnostics port and the earlier Mk4's are done by a custom chip... Tell me more of these tuning boxes!! :thumb:

the bora 150tdi i know what has one, along with panel filter and few other mods was RR at just under 200hp

PD or Pump Deux is basically a 16v Derv engine running high fuel pressure (hence two pumps) It was the "first" high performance diesel engine.

I had a gt tdi 110. Was lovely. I spent my money on show not go though. I didn't buy a diesel to go fast lol

Good luck with it all though. Couldn't pick a more reliable engine.

I had a Fabia vRS, hybrid turbo, miltek etc, was rolling roaded at 220bhp. Still did almost 50 to the gallon when driven easy!

Currently have a 110 SEAT Toledo as my work car, 150 turbo, injector nozzles and a remap, haven't had it rr'd yet and probably won't, but should be in and around the 180 mark. Goes well enough for me!
