2.o seh indentification.

Going to look at one of these hopefully, what do i need to look for to identify it as an seh? Is seh stamped on the block? what makes it visually different from other 2.0 8 valves? :)

Should be stamped as part of the engine number tho if it's not clean you'll not see it :)

It will be stamped on the block yeah, Same as any other.

If it hasn't been changed, the rocker cover gives it away too iirc, Something like having a raised breather. Somebody else will prob know for sure though.

All 2.0 8vs have a raised breather IIRC

Raised breather, no fluting on the rocjer cover and OHC cast into the breater.

Also will have the engine code "20SEH" etched into the small flat surface of the block which is below the head at the flywheel end of the engine.
