Evening all, iv started to try and sort my wiring out on the car. The loom that came with the engine has a chassis interface plug on it. What exactly is this for?
Cheers
Ste
Sounds like a fancy name for an earth almost lol
I would guess it's the plug between the car loom and the engine though, as in americanised chassis to engine interface?

The terminals on it are.....
1 - ECU +12v
2 - ECU Aux 1
3 - ECU Aux Volts
4 - ECU Dig 1
5 - ECU Dig 2
6 - ECU Aux Temp
7 - Lambda +
8 - Lambda -
9 - ECU Aux 3
10 - ECU Aux 4
11 - Sensor 0v
12 - Engine +12v
13 - Engine +12v
14 - Oil Pressure
15 - 24 not used
Yeah, googling it comes up with reference to jap cars, which are all ECU in the car type.
It looks like it's basically a combined engine plug+ECU plug because the ECU is inside the car not in the bay, or on a seperate plug which then runs inside the car XE style (I assume at least, as they run ECU in the car but have an engine plug, I deal with smallblocks lol)
