as title please need some help off the ice gurus lol need more bass in my life my current sub and amp have had their day

2nd hand is the way forward if you only have a small budget.
Rockford Fosgate, a decent JL is also good:)
You looking for sub AND amp for <£100? Don't forget to factor in cabling and sub enclosure if required.
Infinity stuff is reasonably priced, I've got two of their amps (my original Alpine MRD-M605 fried itself!) from ebay and a brand new sub was only £40 delivered. Also scored a good JL 10w3v2 sub from ebay a few years back for £30 which is still going strong.

iv got a 12" edge sub/amp combo in my astra, set up properly its awesome for 90 squid at halfords

Only thing with secondhand is buying something that has been hammered for a fair few years. JL audio stuff is good, not sure how much it is these days mind you. About 10 years since I last bought a sub.

without referencing to the amp iirc its 900 watts rms if that makes sense, i might just stop being tight and buy everything new amp sub etc

ive had a jbl sub and a kenwood sub both budget subs but i would rate the jbl over the kenwood i currently have but that could be because the kenwood still isint broken in

What he said, I'm running two 1000watt JBL's and they are immense in the back of the nova!!
