Might be buyin a Gsi engine but want to run it on weber 32/34. I know it will be produce less power than if it was with the injection but cant be arsed with changin the fuel lines and tank so what i need to find out is what inlet manifold will i need to get hold of? and will the coil and things work properly without the ecu?

easier to change the tank and lines...... you would have to source 1.4sr coil loom and dizzy
change it to injection dan its not much of a hassle really. but your probly lookin at ?60 for parts with tank+pump and new lines/hoses

changing to Injection is VERY easy from a 1.4
dont even bother with tank and lines if you cannot be arsed
we ran a 2ltr 8v using the cavalier pump on the end of the fuel line in the engine bay
worked fine we found.
if you keep the weber 32 34, i had a crap 1.6 head with square ports and a mathcing manifold i saw 93 bhp.
if you do do the weber 32 34, you want a head of a 1.2 or 1.3 with castellated ports and matching manifold of an SR
