does anybody know if i can get a stand alone speedo? the cable speedo in my nova keeps snapping and i cba to keep changing it? cheers

yep stack dash etc have a look on demon tweeks at the guages

cheers, are they easy to set up or would i have to get somebody to do it for me?

i havent ordered mine yet so couldnt say. will need an electrical speed sensor on it, whether the normal speedo drives would work i dont know

buy a new cable, take the inside out, cover it with clean grease and put it back in, it will last at least 20 years! For some reason they don't put the grease in the replacement cables.

search for olly hewits old epic trackdaynova thread - im sure somewhere in there he fitted a little digi ('spa' i think it was) speedo; a small matchbox size thing, in front of his clocks.

spa speedo's are very good, Its what my old 8v ran during its life.

Or save a lot of monies and fit an astra digi dash?

You didn't tell us what car you have, or engine, I can see the point spending good money on a well built racer but not on a basic road car
