The amount you are allowed to earn before you pay tax is dependant on the tax code you are issued which is dependant upon personal circumstances and how much you earn.

Most people will be put on a tax code of 451L which means you are allowed to earn ?4510 in the financial year (April 6th - April 5th following year) before you pay any tax...

However, this does not mean that you do not pay any tax until you have earned ?4510 > what they do is tax you on everything you earn above what would take you over that figure. So...

You are allowed to earn ?4510 per year... which is ?86.73 per week and not pay any tax on that. But if you earn anything more than that amount in any given week > you will be taxed on what you earn above the amount of ?86.73.

For those of you who are paid monthly... you are allowed to earn ?375.83 per month before you pay any tax. :D

All of this is assuming that you are on a tax code of 451L. If you are on a different tax code, this will be different, let me know if you want me to do the maths for you :lol:

Not yet > i am not using anything like this for wisew.com > prebuilt scripts etc... I am making it all myself.

Kev supplied me with the original script that got me started which is now modified quite heavily and other than that its all gonna be my own work. That way i can use it as a proving ground to test new ideas and practice new things.

Currently developing a simple forum system for the visitors stuff section, which will haev a signup process etc so you have to be a registered member to use it...
Also working on a calendar system so i can add events etc to it and they display on the site somewhere to remind me of things as i am getting forgetful lol. Few other bits n bobs i am working with too...

Oh and phil - if you go to the visitors links section feel free to add anything interesting you know of :D

basically yeah > content is king. SO i am trying to get as much stuff into it as possible... the more stuff i can get onto there the more useful it will be to me and others.
