Hi i put some rear discs on my nova and when i brake hard the back locks up. someone told me i need a astra mk2 master but noy sure about that can anyone help.:)

Yeah,get the correct compensators or a bias valve
and why the dikk is this in club chat?!

Have a look at the compensator valves coming from the master cyclinder.

They are hexagonal piece that the brake pipe screws into. There will be numbers on these. What are they?

Also you could run a brake bias valve to the rear to restrict braking force to the rear.

Best ones are mk2 astra gte 16v bias valves (only ones that had rear discs but no abs)

But finding some isnt going to be easy, they are marked 3/20

hehe i got some mwahaha,(thanks to kitt1972 old scotty) i have yet to fit my rear disc beam, but i can see them still locking up because the astra gte was waaaay heavier at the back then a nova! as with everything lol. but if you can afford an adjustable one may be worth the investment. but cant be great to set up.

i had gte valves on mine never had a problem. what front brakes have you got?

Calibra turbo ones think they are 288mm and cavalier rears

I had 3/27 ones that I sold recently.

I have heard a Corsa b van is the one to get them off;)
