Not really a wine lover either....it has to be sweet and fizzy, and red wine is just loopy juice.
I'll stick to my becks, vodka and fruity cider...:)

With how disgusting wine can be i'm sure there probably actually isn't much of a difference in taste lol

I think i'd still take the wine though.

My relationship has ended with mrs kiwinova:(
Looks like you'll probably finish the lot off :( Was it something we all said, will she ever come back on here  Chin up anyway :thumb:

I tend to drink red wine usually when having a nice steak, I sound like Hannibal Lecter lol

White wine is usually if I've drunk all my beers at home and the wifes still some wine left in the fridge lol

14%>5% :p

I'm a big wine drinker. The people who say they don't like it either haven't had the good stuff (that doesn't necessarily mean expensive either!) or their taste buds haven't developed yet - 3 or 4 years ago I hated the stuff, but now I love it.

In fact I might bring a few bottles to the national weekend

Nope it's just cack...........same as champagne, couple of years i cracked open a rather expensive bottle of moet as the beer had run dry and ended up talking down the big white telephone.
Its just too dry, the gag reflex kicks in if i smell it or white wine.

Moet is really dry and ****. A nice 18 year old bottle of dom perignog (can't be arsed to google correct sp lol) on the is another story.

Wine is great if you hget the good stuff.

When I usually have a bottle of red, it's usually left open all day then enjoyed in the evening.

Meh strongers not always better. Much rather a nice cold corona compared to 'a glass of wine' , plus my mum drinks wine and i cannot be associated with drinking the same stuff as my own mother lol

What I don't understand is why there is such a snobbery about wine...seriously where I work you can train to be a wine specialist! And don't get me started on the "overtones of cherries, finished with a frisson of meringue.." malarkey.

Although if you've had the misfortune to drink cheap red wine you really know about it.

But I used to drink WKD Blue in my early days so what do I know? ;)

Southie

Nah, mad-dogs 20/20 or thunderbirds was the wine of choice when I was a lad lol

I also used to drink White Lightning and Frosty Jack's....shame on me.

And in first year at Uni, the offie opposite the campus started flogging White Ace at 65p a can.....so yeah.

To think I cam from that to making my own liqueurs now...

Agree - this is why I said good stuff doesn't have to be expensive! Some of my favourites are cheapo £5-a-bottle jobbers. Just pick something you like, who cares what the label or price says.

and why Draper likes it as it resembles to wife beater lol

Despite having Swiss (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Switzerland) origins, Goldschläger is a product of Italy (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Italy) and the brand is owned by Diageo (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Diageo).[4] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Goldschl%C3%A4ger#cite_note-diageo-3) The German (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/German_language) word Goldschläger ("gold beater" lol
