They look similer, but they are sri ones as they are set in more and are not as flat surfaced as the gte ones. But i can see where your coming from looking flat at them they do look similer :)

for god's sake it is a wheel trim... as opposed to a painted wheel....

if you paint the wheel white, it will get discoloured really quickly with brake dust.

Looks quite good in white, but as the grandad said, it'll get very dirty very quickly. Thats why I did mine black lol

Sorry from the way you where wording it it sounded like you where telling me they were gte wheels trims! Thankyou for your opinion! I do however prefer the shape of the wheels to the trim there fore will not be using trims. Yes the Wheels will get dirty but i can wash them!

ring a few industrial powder coaters. you'd be surprised how often they use white, they might blast & coat them cheap... it would look really good & last a long while

Sorry whats scene tax?

It's what makes a grill for a nova £5 and a grill for a VW £150

I wanna nodd and understand but i dont quite get it... sorry. Explain that again for a girl :d

Tax is an artificially added value, steel wheels are a current 'scene' thing. Scene tax comes from scene kids paying over the odds for 'scene' things, thus pushing prices up.

Yorkie
08-02-11, 09:26 PM
Oh right, nah i dont think so then, only paid 50 pound for them :)

You also missed drapers less than subtle suggestion that it's a bit of a scene whore choice lol

Personally though, I wanted some 5.5J ones to paint yellow and polish the lips, so lol

Dervy
08-02-11, 09:32 PM
that why they are being painted white so they are not the same as all the others :)
