no gears :(

hey,

i have set up my linkage many times on my f20 box and seems to get every gear correct but it doesnt seem to engage as i can push the car around my drive when in any gear.
I assume that its the gear selector and one of my mates say the linkage can anyone help me.

not at the moment waiting for my starter motor to arrive as my one was gone so i was going to bump start it when i came across this problem :(

id wait for your starter and see whats what... make sure it's in neutral (I'd check on the box end not just inside the car) and see whats what, don't wanna risk a run away or pushing it around for hours without getting anywhere.
