I posted a thread up about my engine smoking (c16xe) and was told it was the stems had gone

I havent done anything to it just put another rocker cover on and changed the oil and since then I have had no smoke :wtf:

could one of them have been the problem:confused:

my tigra used to gulp a load on excessive roundabouts and a friend fetched me his xe and that was smoking, was a blockage between the cam cover and baffle plate leading into the throttle body via breather vacuums

as above could be breather issues change your oil reguarly and also when you feel like it clean breather hoses baffle plate etc brake cleaner toothbrush etc :thumb:
