Toyo A048's are good.

And for budget, toyo proxies t1r's £120 for 4 delivered.

Matt, don't you mean Yoko A048 ;)

Is this for daily road use or for the track?

Toyo T1R's for everyday use!! Grippy, wear well and arent to loud for road noise!:thumb:

i'l double check when i get a chance later on, sure they are 45 but would make sense going 40 i guess

45 profile gives slightly better ride quality!

About to go from a 195 / 40 [7J] R16 onto a 205 / 40 [7J] R17.

Should be good & I need the ground clearance now too.

Anything that you can pick up for free, although larger diameter does give more impact protection

toyo proxos/t1r's etc are ****e but if thats all you can afford then crack on:wall: they kinda work when the roads bone dry but slightest bit of rain/damp in they are absolutley terrible, probably one of the worst tyres ive ever used to be fair with poor negative feedback and very noisy, avoid at all costs if you ask me but then again they'll be going on a nova, they dont handle anyway:p lol

Id sooner use remoulds than Proxies lol

Kumho KU31's are fecking ace (and usually cheaper than proxies).
Have to say I'm impressed with the fat man exalto 2's on the 182, although the fronts are nearly gone so will be fitting the KU31's next...... oh noes I'm moving away from OE stuff, the clio lot will kill me
