mk 4 astra van 1.7dti problem

the heater blower only blow's hot air when it want's to , and i think it may be lossing coolant slowly but cant find a leake anywere . and ive looked every were !!:(

anyone got any idea's what it could be :)

Both problems are probably linked - the coolent must be going somewhere, if its loosing quite a lot but you cant see it leaking it prob head gasket - could be water pump too, as that can leak as a very fine spray and may not be immediately obvious...

Also could be the matrix leaking - but you would notice that in the cabin...
