just went to turn on my laptop (Toshiba) and just stays on Toshiba screen... :(

this is the thrid time its happened since i had it (for about 9 months now) its asif there is no power going to the HD as i cnt hear it wizzin around... tried loadsa time turning it on and off but still no luck.

normally it seems to work again after a while or the nxt day but i need to get on it tonight as its got my college work on which needs finishing for tommorow!! ne ideas what i can do??

i been using it all day and has been fine!! SO ANNOYING!!!! :evil: :evil:

neva seen dat 1 befor.. what it do - - flash the bios or somin... ne ideas were it mite be?

try removeing the battery for about 10 mins

if that dont work then try removing and reseating the hdd

Hmmmm still not working :( :( :(

left batt and power cable out for bout half an hour now. and no luck. made sure HD is in sercurely..

my laptop is poorly also... :(

its my cooling-fan, so it gets too warm after a bit and i have to turn it off after about half an hour or so...

if it was a desktop, a fan would be the simplest of things to sort out (couple of quid), but its becoming a bit of a nightmare tring to find a fan for a tiny laptop... :( :evil:

v v v weird.. woke up this moring turned on laptop - - worked fine!! :D

i think it may be the hard drive - -fualty power connector or somin :?

mite just b a dead hdd - does happen........

if it ent spinning up sometimes? could be faulty
