The white specs are just dust from the workshop.

Mike, the ripples...does this mean they are not flat? Need to make a mounting plate/facia for my VX220 dash inside a mk2 cowl.

Pete, ill be honest & say no, there not 100% flat.

It appears during the course of last week whilst I was away, the workshop temperature dropped significantly so the epoxy didnt set properly & stayed wet far to long causing the lot to sag whilst in a vertical position :( hence the ripples :(

There not entirely flat/true, there about 90% there, which unfortunatly means for anyone making model aircraft (70% of my customers) its useless.

Ive been out there today an set up 2 sqm ready to trim tomorrow, hopefully & fingers crossed, they'll be pukka & true. Hopefully...
