ok guys just wondering what way i would go about getting power steering into my nova did any of them come with it or do i have to get a corsa rack and put nova steering arms on it????

Corsa setup i believe. Have a search around. Quite a few have done it IIRC.

lol I admit there are times when I'd like power steering, like turning around from standstill etc, and you have to yank the steering wheel round a bit, but generally I actually prefer it without...

Once I've updated my project thread I'll put up a guide to how I've fitted epas into a mk1

But yeah have a search there alot of threads on the subject

agreed,power steering is for puffs
I believe saxo parts can be used also

The Corsa is an updated Nova really....and you have just said why people want power steering.


like turning around from standstill etc, and you have to yank the steering wheel round a bit

If you use the correct SPI transducer with a corsa epas column you will have variable resistance, so when parking the column does alot of the work, at speeds you will hardly feel it, ideal and job done

cheers guy i was just wondering as i have know of people putting an electric colum out of a corsa into a nova but its very big under the dash

AK is the most common, 15imp is what's needed, this should be written underneath the AK lettering

You can get control boxes that allow you to change the sensitivity/help on a switch too, I've ordered one for my Nova.

Thought it needed an RPM signal as well as a speed signal?
