Difference Between Stnad springs & Coilover?

Hey can anyone please tell me what the difference is between coilover and standard lowering springs?

only applies to the front of a Nova unless you have welded in turrets in the rear.
as you look at the front suspension setup on your car you see the spring and inside is the shock. the top and bottom of the shock hold the spring. you can see a type of platform above and below the spring .
on a coilover the bottom platform is adjustable. it can be treaded up or down compressing or letting off the spring thus adjusting the ride height of the front of the car.
your standard spring cannot be used in a coilover. a smaller one which you chose will come with it
