85/86 onwards SR, was only out for a couple of years so not that common.
I think you had the choice of this against the grey with certain exterior colours like white or Jamaica yellow.
I think most would have gone for the grey with white plus Jamaica yellow SR's are V rare hence not seeing this pattern that often

I have one seat lol Its an Astra SR one in the same fabric.
I nearly bought a Jamaica yellow SR with that interior and I got the seat as a spare for a tenner so bought it. Well it was mainly for the fabric headrest(As fitted to my Sport).

I had a interior the same as that, I bought it from Dod on the site. It always puzzled me as to what year of SR it came out of. lol

I have to much time on my hands and tend to do too much thinking lol

As for the sport im hoping to have a big update in the next month or so.

I put a full mint set of those seats on a bonfire bout 10 years ago :eek: couldn't give them away :( hindsight is a wonderful thing lol

This is the thing how many of these interiors have been burnt or dumped in the skip in favour of SRI or GSI interior years ago :mad:

Another type, you got any pics? im sure this was all the check types.

Wouldnt mind but the gsi interior is the worst of the lot imo

according to the sales brochure this interior was an option for the following colours of SR,
polar white
jamacia yellow
brazil brown
onyx brown
baryt brown

and was called the " Plaid Sport brown trim " and all other colour cars had the grey option.

Plaid sport grey lol thats the one in the second picture you posted, the brown is just the same pattern but on a different background, the daytona stuff must have been the standard stuff to be fitted

i've got the grey check
in my 1988 E reg SR
its steel grey

Well I have never seen that colour brown.....until now

All three are only early mk1 colours and only brazil was a solid colour the other are both metalic and optional extra at extra cost, it would be interesting to see the 3 shades,
