XE, because its SOOO much easier
LET is way too much hassle and no room for anything

It's all down to budget. And what you want from the car.
XE on F20 is about 1 5th the price of doing a LET on F28 right.
Whats your budget?
Whats the car used for?
Etc etc
Do you want turbo or non turbo power?
would a standard xe pull in 6th on a f28?

Define better?
For cheap thrills a let.
If you have many ££££ then build a decent Xe.
For a road car, then an Xe.
But you need £10,000 to build an Xe to go like a ph1 c20let.
If your doing it right, a c20let will be reliable, it's usually people buy a 1,000,000 mile engine, then chip it, boost up, fuel up and expect it to last!
I'd say Xe though for yourself z

okay thanks alot people, is goin to be for a fast road car and i can get either of the engine for cheap the let needs a full rebuild
have a good read of the WIP project threads on LET novas. you will have some idea of the enormity of the task.
But you need £10,000 to build an Xe to go like a ph1 c20let
where do you get these prices from haha, build a mild spec xe for a couple of grand that would be much more fun than a let, lighter and probably beat a 250-260bhp let round the track haha
