View Full Version : Waste of a Nova!
I was looking through Copart and came across this:
>LINK< (http://copart.co.uk/c2/homeSearch.html?_eventId=getLot&execution=e5s1&lotId=10757051&returnPage=SEARCH_RESULTS)
It's a catagory B so can only be broke for parts. Been to look at it and it has no rust and runs etc but it can only be brought by a scrapyard or breakers. I really don't see why insurance companies do this type of thing. A white one went through last week that was rotten and vandalised and was a catagory D.

Because its a Nova. And will cost waaaaaaay more than its book value to fix. Hence scrapping it. Happens with newer cars aswell. Dont lose sleep over it!
I was hoping for the green one again! lol

I know that but I was just saying how a rotter went through last week and was worthy for the scrapyard whereas this one isn't.

Very unusual to see a clean derv, a lot of them where pool cars, and others used for epic millages.
Nice find, but if you have to be a breaker, then it's gonna end up either crushed or autograssed the shell.
I swear sometimes it's smaller/bigger!
what the hell is this copart thingy then
Salvage agent. Basically their main business is selling insurance company cars...Mainly write-offs.
you have to pay to register.

My dad's a member and has got a fair few cheap cars of there. If the Nova wasn't a Cat B then I would have got it because it's only about 5 minutes away!
