gearbox choices???

hi all ! iam currently building my nova GTE C20xe project , ive sorted alot of the engine out too run on twin 40s and was just wondering what type of gearbox would be best for acceleration and which would be best for topend speed ???f20 ???? 5-speed or go 6-speed any advice welcome thank pete :)

Id say F16 for acceleration and if you want top end go for F28

its got a f20 box at the mo what are these like and is it just the diff that makes the f16 better for acceleration ?? sorry for all the questions just spent so much time on the engine dont want too just use any box and spoil the end result

depends which f16 theres 2 cr as fited to astra gte and long ration as fitted to budget cavs

F28 on an xe is a waste of time and effort.Spuds old one ran out of steam past a ton

i want it too be quick off the mark ,but still have the legs top end . ive built a few boxes in my time but these were for saloon stock racing which was a 1300cc nova with a 2.21 second gear and a 4:1 or 3:9 diff depending on the track size but ive no idea what too use with the c20xe:)
