You probs wont notice any difference in performance by just using a gsi cam and you need a cam with a fuel pump drive which the gsi cam does not have.

Also - a 1.6 cam will be a ball-drive for the Bosch dizzy where an early 1.2 will be slot drive for a Delco dizzy.

If you must fit a fast road cam for a 1.2 - fit a Kent AST2 - not forgetting the correct springs, retainers, etc... or they go coil-bound and things get bitter and twisted.

Not really worth it when it's just as simple to put a 1600 engine in there.

You might find your compression ratio is too high, leading to detonation, and melty melty pistons.
