So the nova turbo build is off?

I'd go for a z20let astra.

Cheap, fairly quick, but you may have to go towards £3k to get one.

I'd make a decision on what you want (as in the retro/modern/quick options) then go from there, otherwise you could just pick anything

What are the prices of GTi-6's like at the mo?

£2k can get you a surprisingly decent amount of car, it all depends what type of car you want and obviously insurance, etc.

A few of my recent cars have been around the £2k mark and that included a mr2 turbo which is probably the fastest car you could get at that price. 106GTi which was so easy to drive, looked fairly nice and was actually quite quick. LOADS of E36 beemers can be had for that, i would chose a 325 or 328, iv even seen a few M3s for not much more aswell.

Loads of cars out there, just check the forums.

Suppose if I was spending that Id go for a >97 Volvo 940 2.3HPT with an lsd.
Get a hooligan cam, an SS exhaust system, bush and lower it, turn the boost up and youll have a decent track, drift, luxo-dailly that you can thrash, move house in, camp in, drive through walls, and still have £500 left in your pocket for spending on sweets.

Thats just me though.
And im borderline retarded..

I sold my c20let last night so the turbo projects off atm

The mpg I'm gettin from the 1.2 nova is to good to ruin aswell so this is going to be my daily for the time being...

Fiat coupe turbos tickle my fancy but then you've got the unreliability of FIAT lol...

I'm just gonna keep looking and see what catches my eye!!

Never ! It would be an absolute dog at that price, its not cheap to repair one either when it goes wrong

Seen a few classic shape scoobies I've liked lately tho, having to pay for repairs on a £30k rally car puts me off tho
