I'd just like peoples ideas on what to do with these engines. I've got a few spare bits lying around a bit of spare time and I just want to know what I can make. Before anyone says just search it.. I have but the threads are pretty old and it's just not that easy to get hold of some of the things people might have mentioned 5-10 years ago... The 8valve is a dying breed but i think there's so much potential! I dont want bike carbs either! Sorry to be fussy!

throttle bodys or carbs, cams, management, oversized valves, 1650 rebore, turbo

just the same as any other engine the list is endless

big valve head, big cam, decent exhaust & you'll be on about 125hp..
then its tb's or carbs & about 150hp.

its very expensive to tune an e16se compared to an xe..

i'm looking at using later 1800 small block bits to make mine have some more grunt.

There is a few turbo E16SEs floating around and done properly they have a relaible 150+ bhp and loads of grunt for around the same money as doing fast road NA tuning.
