Recently got my car back from having the top end re-built and now I can't rev past 2.5k when it heats up
Garage did say they had to replace a resistor in my ecu because they blew it to bits though so would that have anything to do with it?
And also the water in my header tank is a horrid baby poo brown colour and smells of petrol/oil, blown head gasket after 1 day?!
Any help on these issues would be grand

Doesnt make a sh1te of difference mate,any head can go porous
The common misconception that coscast is the best when infact it aint

Who did the engine build, sounds like the head gasket but worse could be a cracked head.

Was the water system fully flushed and a new water pump fitted?

Have you had the eml light on at all? Any temperature problems??

They told me it over heated on Friday whilst they were trying to make it work
Apart from that I'm not sure
I've had no lights on my dash though
And the system was fully flushed but not sure about the pump
