Im having to put up my car for sale as im buying a house and need every penny i can to put towards a deposit.:(
I got it about a month ago from an old guy who lived near me, he'd become too old to drive and decided he didnt need it any more, it came with lots of history and the origional order form and bill of sale!!!
looking at the mot's hes done 100 miles a year for the last 6 or 7 years!
Arthur (the old guy) bought it brand new from the local Vauhall Opel garage and washed it and polished it every sunday since, and has kept every MOT. The service history is stamped upto 3000 miles, at this point it was 18 month old. It has the origional owners handbook, origional service book, origional audio handbook, and yes it does have the origional radio fitted!
The rear drivers arche has seen better days tho, and has a little filler, it has had both sides painted at some point in its life, i was planning on having this redone with a new drivers rear arch but i have decided to sell it as origional as possible.
It has MOT till August 29th and TAX till the end of May. Which costs £125 a year

I have had the origional garage stickers re-made and a pair of numberplates made with the origional garage logo at the bottom. which will go with the car.
With a little work this could be as a real Gem.

Im going to the midlands meet in it on sunday if this helps anyone wanting to view the car.
Bad points on the car are, Drivers rear arch bubbling, drivers seat worn, drivers side footwell carpet worn, front valance bubbling, small chip in passenger side headlight and crack in the drivers side front indicator.

Price is at £1500, this is a based on looking at hatchbacks in similar condtion, and mileage ive seen for sale, its very reasonably priced i think
Also the logbook is still in Arthers name, so i havnt added any owners to the logbook. It still says No previous owners.

forgot to mention i have gave the engine a full service and a full new standard exhaust system. i have the reciept from autovaux to prove too.

oh and the drivers mirror has been replaced too, it doesnt have a passenger mirror, it left the factory like this and has the blank.

sorry to hijack your thread mate, could you pm me the people who did your new number plates. i want these done for my brown hatch back but cant find anyone who does them!

it was just a local sign shop mate, any place will do 'em. the number plates are just new ones with the dealer logo stuck on unfortunately. i wasnt pleased with them as i wanted them to be stuck inside,and the lettering to be the old style. :(

MADDOGDAZ - I Think price is a bit high to, if it was mine I would take no less than £800.

MINT FIRST - I seen your red nova for sale and think the final price was a bit cheap lol

But this is just my opinion and at the end of the day its what people are willing to pay and that's what it's worth lol

gone overboard at the bodyshop and is now no longer for sale, as its gettin a full restoration now! (but slowly as i cant spend too much on it to keep the mrs happy so i can still buy a house) lol lol
