Right basically I can get my hands on some calibra 16v brakes cheep but I got to be quick.

What i want to know is will they go on a nova easy (diy job?) or are they annoying to get on and what are the chances of them fitting under my 14" OZ alloys?

Cheers for the help

i should think that they go on, if you get the calipers and disks. im not 100% sure if they will fit under your wheels but i would have thought so.

don't think they'll fit they might fowl when you come to put the wheel on, but if you can get them cheap then try em can't hurt an you could always put them on at a later date if you change your wheels or sell them on as someone will have them for a brake upgrade

yep mate very easy to do:

Unbolt your old caliper, use hose pinch to stop any fluid leaking
Take old disks off, put new disks on. You'll have to take the brake dust sheild off or bend it out the way
Bolt new calipers on
Bleed brakes, job done!

I'd think that they will fit under your wheels, you can move the weights to the outside of the rim for a few mm clearance i think? If not it'll take you 10mins to swap them back

Also don't forget that for 16v brakes upwards you need to remove the backplate or at least parts of it (I think), Ste, isn't that correct?!

/me wishes I hadn't of typed anything now......

The little sheild will foul on the disk, this can be removed, bent out of the way or simply bent backwards and forwards until it breaks

no your current hoses should be fine. just the two complete callipers and the disks (plus and bolts/screws etc)
