Just had some bilstiens come through, I have a 60mm drop at the moment. but the springs that have come with these shocks are a 35mm lowering. There standard nova springs but i have a c20xe. do i spend that extra money and get 60mm lowering springs rated at the weight spec of a c20xe or just stick with the 35mm for a bit of comfort for once lol. unsure what to do to be honest... help?
buy the rated springs, 35mm looks gay on 15" imo
Definitely get the properly rated springs.

heard a mix match of what rating they should be. 300lb an inch? or 280lbs and inch what happens if there 60mm from standard? you need to work out what you took out and add it to the spring

Im pretty sure mine are 300lb and they are rock hard and definetly not recommended for the road.

A couple of years ago when i had a C16se it was on standard shocks but when i put the XE in i bought some spax shocks, nothing fancy but it made no difference from the standard shocks. The springs are solid and no matter what shocks i buy for it it'll still be solid.
I read a thread a bit ago and most people said 280 was iirc and agreed that 300 was way too hard.

never tried the black ones, what sooo crap about them and whats to good about the yellow ones? and i want to get as comfy as i can in all honesty! without comprimising handling. and before anyone is like well you can have both i know this dont worry i just want as comfy as comfy can be when they suspension is stiff
Yellows are uprated, black are OEM spec (or only slightly uprated over OEM)
