Hi,

Having never owned a mk2 nova I was wandering if the shell is the same as the mk1's? wasnt sure if the slam panel was maybe different.

Cheers
Ian

There's nothing that poses a real issue when its stripped down to a bare shell tho is there, just the odd bracket and hole...?

B & C pillars are different internally(Seatbelt mounts and trim mounting)
Wings, but they are just bolt on
Rear seat pan may have a hole for an in tank fuel pump
Rear quarters have rear bumper mounting holes in a different position
Front panel is slightly different

Ideally you need an 84/85 brown shell to chop bits out of ;)

mm bet there not easy found!
There is a place local too me that restores vintage cars, they do coach work, ash frames and that kinda stuff, I'm going to give them a call and see if 1985 sport comes under a vintage motor to them!

Cheers

Novasport just seen your page on here. That shell looks amazing, did you have to repair lots of panels on it first??

Door keeper mounting is bolted onto a mark 1, and spot welded on a mark 2 as well.:thumb:

Then no, it was a brand new bodyshell that had been in storage. I have since sold it to Edd who is now building it into the Sport but with a 1.3 turbo.
