Who else has really got the bug?

I seriously cant wait to get thd new one out!

Camp Corner at Combe is calling, such a wicked corner, followed by full yee-ha down the straight towards avon rise. Love that bit of combe.

Want to try Snets new layout too, wonder if it makes revett faster?

Deers Leap at Oulton is funny too, the porsche turbo incident (Ste L ;))

So many funny times last year, im desperate to do it all again!

Is it just me?

Tracks have corners, so thats my Nova off the menu lol

Wouldn't take the celica out either as I'd be too worried about stacking it (or rather it being Norris'ed by someone else hiding behind the moon). I'd be well up for a passenger ride though.

I cant wait get back out on track again, its been wayyyy too long for me.
But its looking pretty unlikely that my nova will see a road or track this year. :(

Havent been on the track since....2002 IIRC lol Nova should be road worthy in time for Coomb. Yay!! Funnily enough that was my last track day!

If its back up to full performance mode, combe in April would be an ideal time to give it a thrash, especially if we're going to dismantle it shortly afterwards :d

Pistol Pete

Or it may dismantle itself at Coomb lol

New snetterton layout looks quality, do you think my 1.6 8v will not be enough for the track as would love to do an open pit this year, but im worried about spending all my money and just feel like im just holding everyone out?

Its ok, he only drops it out of the bottom...*snigger*

Connor, You could do a trackday in a 1.0 for all it matters. Aslong as you have good track manners and get out of the way when needed then its upto the faster cars to cope rather than you stressing all the time and then lead to mistakes etc.

Mine will only be a 1.2 possibly 1.3, it doesn't matter I just want the experience. Its better to start out small and learn how to keep the car moving fast by getting your track positioning and cornering right

Connor
01-02-11, 10:46 PM
Yea i suppose, well if i get a decent suspension set up i will consider it

mk1nova_rich
01-02-11, 10:49 PM
Meh mine will be far from special lol 256mm brakes, lowered a bit and thats about it. Decent tyres are a must though, and just keep an eye on the essentials such as fluids, brake pads, tyres etc

Let us kno if and when anyone books up Snett...

AlexW

Best person to prove about its your driving etc is mike B over on CS/weekendracer. 1.2 corsa but shows up plenty of cars, Before he crashed it anyway.

Once I've sorted cars etc my 12v will be going on track.

And with saying about getting in the way, Mirrors. Like lots of people say, As long as you get out the way you will be fine.

AlexW

draper

you wont stuff it connor, there no ugly women to give the horn to lol

very, very much doubt my nova will be done anytime soon but i reckon the vectra would hold its own out on track. now donny is open again its ideal aswell.
plus if all goes well and i get my trampdrifter ill be looking at some drift days (hopefully)

Connor
