my beige saloon

hello this is my thread of my beige nova saloon. some of you have seen it already but hey im ganna put some pictures up any way lol im planning on gettin some sr steels and getting the banded, then will be hitting it with a slam hammer. i have also got a 1.2 engine in the shed witch i will be rebuilding, cleaning, polishing, and painting. any ideas or advise is more than welcome. now here come the pictures.

also when i got the car the feul line were perished and leaking so i have changed all the rubber hoses and it is now running, next problem is the rear breaks are seized on so will be tackling that in the morning.

yh the blue one is getting the track treatment lol it has mk2 bumpers front and back didnt like them at first but they have grown on me now .

lol there are both mk1s but the person who had the blue one before me put all the mk2 bumpers on and bined the mk1 bumpers the car only cost 300 so i didnt realy mind :D

What you got planned for the blue one, a redtop of some sort? lol

nope 1300 on some twin 40s the engine i have got was running 96bhp with a 32/34 carb but im hopeing around the 115 mark with the twin 40s

got the mot 2day only problem was the front drivers side break was binding slightly but i will be sorting it out in the morning, apart from that it is ok. going to try and get tax tomorrow, can i get tax without the log book as i have not recived it in the post yet. can someone let me know. thank you.

got the tax today and took it for a drive. it drives loverly the only problem is the indercators do not work have tryed a new relay but still wont work wat can i do to sort them out??

not much of an update, but sice my last post i have clocked up over 3000 miles and the car has not missed a beat :d i have now fitted a K&N air filter, and i have also got a picture in tv magazine.

looks sweet bud! :thumb: my brazil brown saloon is- roughly 80mm lower on standard steelies, the same as yours but doesnt took low enough. The photoshop looks sweet tho! im gonna have to invest in coilovers :)

little update had to get the front wheels off the tracking is terrable and has chewed up my tyres getting some on thursday, will also be getting the tracking done. so the steel wheels have gone on till then. heres some pics.

Lovely looking saloon youve got there, know what you mean about the tracking, when i dropped my saloon it didnt feel too bad until the tyres were shot, tracked it up at work and it was 20mm out hope you get it sorted.

hello got a small update, went and picked up a set of twin 40s with the manifold of ward (cheers mate). i will up load pictures tomorrow and will have to start rebuilding the engine. i have also got a f10 gear box and wanted to know if it is a good box, if someone could let me know i would be very greatful.

hello all, not many updates yet apart from my car getting an award for one of "the best non vag" at players. since then my son was born of the 4th of november so the nova has been but on the back burner, since then i have been looking for a seat of brown sr/sport seats with no luck. if any one has a set please let me know as i have put money aside for them :). anyway i gave the car a clean i have taken some pictures so enjoy.

update. its bad news tho, on my way home from work someone decided to pull straght out in front of me and i had no way of stoping in time, my car has sufferd a bent bonnet, wings, front panel, bumper, headlights, onignal front number plate, both inner wings and track arm dammage. im am completly gutted i loved the car :(. but this now means i have doors boot lid head lining and dash for my blue one witch i am now ganna get paint beige. i will get some pictures up soon.
