Who likes them??
Iv liked them for years now but they've always come best to novas.

Interested in getting one as a nearly finished project but I'm unsure atm

They are fun when they work, nightmare when they don't.

Will be v-tec'ing a mates Mini in the near future.

Pesky little buggers that are ridiculously quick on hillclimbs and sprints.

But they will be beaten this season, that's a promise.

To be fair I love them, full of character, and like nothing else around. They also make Novas look good when it comes to rusting away.

i had a classic mini as my 1st car (2nd was a nova :p )

loved the little thing was like a go kart, defo would have another

If you think Novas are bad for rusting... lol

I hate the more 'modern' styled ones. Cue 80s onwards. I would seriously love a genuine 60s Minivan with some period mods :)

Got some mega love for them, quite a few have appeared round my way recently and there is one that always gives me the horn.

Its a stunning metallic blue, lowered, flared arches (I think, never seen it parked up yet) nice wheels, half cage. Man I want it!

Agreed; the only classic mini ive got time for would be a tastefully modified GT - a friend has a nicely done mag-featured one.
The square front end takes the 'noddy-car' ness out a bit..

Otherwise mini's too cartoony cheesey dinky, just not 'blokey' enough for me.

10s look so much better suited to the size and shape of the car, and handle miles better too...

Paint this van smoke grey with an ermine white rood and I'd love it :d

i cut my driving teeth in one of these, and loved every minute of it. My first car was a 1975 tangerine orange one with mamba alloys and chrome arch's etc ( i was young and it was a long time ago lol ) served me well, just a shame the engines couldnt keep up, in the first 3 months i went from an 850cc to a 1000cc then upto the 1275.

That is absolutle gorgeous!! Turbo aswell!! Personally I love the things I've got one at the minute that I've been working on to sell. I've got a Metro turbo engine on eBay at the moment.
I'll build another 1 with my lad when he's a bit older and after I've done the nova.
I went to a mini show at Stafford yesterday was quite good, there was a clubman estate there with rover v8 in the back, nuts!!

No I bought it off a mate few years ago and its been in my mini since. Id love a metro turbo myself I think there cool as funk!! I saw a mint White 1 yesterday with a White sun strip and cherry bomb!! Old school!!!

Thank god, I'm yet to see one in the flesh but they're another old school cool car!
