recond c20xe distributor any advice plz

Alright the distributor that came with my c20xe engine started playing up about 3weeks ago because the cam sensor was lose. i bought another one second hand but this one had a cable tie holding the cam sensor in place. i fitted the second hand one and i managed to drive to asda and back then that one started with the same problem as my old one.

i sent my orignal distributor off to a company call H+H ignition solutions for a full recon got it back and it was mint fitted it to the car and now it it fire at all just tunes over ?? . it has a spark at the plugs and ive also fitted new leads.

im goin to refit the the second hand distributor just 2 see if it starts with it on. it ran like sh*t and would cut out with it on but ill no if its the recond one thats not doin its job.

any advice would be great

Is it getting fuel?

Have you tryed another fuel relay?

i checked valve on the fuel rail and their was fuel in there' squirted out

Id crank it over mate and then whip the plugs out and see if there wet if so fuels getting in and it should fire if not then its something else mate.

they reconditioned my old distributor put new cap + arm + cam sensor on looks brand new
