Got back into a vauxhall today again

Well as we need a bigger car we have been looking at a few differant ones. We Endded up getting a silver vectra Sri saloon.
We didn't get a hatch as we didn't like the look of them.
I will get some pics up tomorrow as to dark out now.

i can get 38mpg out my 148k miles ecotec on a run. i average 23mpg round town. not quick off the line but once there moving they shift well

well, depends on the year - phase 1 vec b's arent taxed on emmisions.
V6's, 2.2's are bit thirsty but smaller petrol models are quite good i think - if maintained properly, and as said ; go quite well considering.
Never had much jip with insurance either, though never had a GSi model.
So 1.8 sri 130, 2.0 sri 140, 2.2? diesel? vectra B Ernie?

It's a 2 ltr Sri 140.
I've had a gsi before and I love the sound but it drank loads of fuel. Mine was an r reg so was on the old tax system as for the new one it's a t reg phase 2 so has the square bumper and squared off gsi spoiler.
I gave it a Hoover out yesterday as it was hanging inside I still need to give it some more love but I think the owner before the last looked after it well by looking at all the paperwork. I will give it a clean later and post up some pic's. As for off the mark I surprised Elsie on our way back home yesterday as she booted our 2.2 coupe. I kept up with her lol.

Nice choice Ernie. I have an SXi. Facelifted (B) version. Doesnt go bad for an 1800. lol on the hunt for a diesel estate at the mo though!!
