used have a nova gte i bought it lowered on 15's i think about 35mm
it was a hard ride as it was standard shocks and i dont recon they were ne gud
2 get it through mot i had to have the inner wings welded with 3/4" plate which didnt hold the mechanic reconed it was due 2 the standard shocks
ne way i wanna lower my sri on 15's wots the the best height to go i have a full neon ground kit and laguna spliter (super nova front bumper coming soon) and i dont want em to catch on speed bumps also if i fit gas shocks ie spax which ive got in me garage will i have the same probs or shud it be ok

ive got my new project lowered 60mm on gmax with 15's. You have to take it really easy over speed bumps now, so itll be worse with a slitter to. id go for 40 max

Are GMAX shocks good?

I was gonna get them or adjustables. what you guys think?

Ive got 35mm gmax springs on at the moment with 15s on - 195/50/15s and they dont rub at all.

i have my car lowred on 60mm gmax springs and shocks, and rides quite hard, but handles like a dream, i only have 14" wheels, so dunno about scrubbage on 15s, but well chuffed with the kit

if your gunna buy Gmax springs then you need to get matched shocks for a good ride. it is a tad hard, but the handling is LOADS better. like i said ive got 60mm on 15's and you have to take to real slow over speed bumps etc! !!!!!!

I had Spax -40mm socks and springs, hard ride but I like that

Car sat very nice on em...and looked well tasty.

**Kit is for sale**

PM me.

The Gmax kit tranforms the looks and handling, used to feel like i was driving a boat, lol, rolled well bad on corners, course it being a 1.2 merit, and having no anti-roll bar didn't help.

I've also lowered my Nova SR 60mm and I have 15s, brilliant ride, just hate doing 5mph over bumps - thats why I try and avoid them - my cornering is 100% better and the look of the car is also 100% better.

But if you are going to use your nova where passengers can sit in the back DONT lower 60mm, tyres start to rub, best to go about 40mm max.
