Hi
I now run with coilovers on the rear of the Nova.

As all the weight of the rear is now held on the rear shock mounts I have read about strenghtening this area.

Pictures please showing what you have done.

Cheers,

Martin.

Check out Bruce's wip, I would also stitch weld around the seams

Iirc STT done a thread about it in a turret for sale thread?

Also worth doing the seams on the rear inner arch to as mirean says, this area was never designed to be used in the way you intend,

My mate with the red nova simply made some new brackets and moved them in slightly to give more clearance for the tyre, I guess it depends if your going to turret it or not which I'll presume your not !

I will have to do this as im currently using mine with no strengthening, I have seen people just weld plates on adjacent the the existing ones.

I think I'll be borrowing this idea lol, but I may turn the bracket 90 degrees to suit my coilovers

If your doing a set Paul that would save my mate some time as he is quite busy. If Martins desperate though he has said he will sort them.
