i remember readin sumwere a couple of times that the corsa, because the shell is a bit more heavyier an stronger copes with the valver conversion better than the nova, is there any truth in this at all???

yeah but HEAVIER and novas don't really struggle do they even without strenghthening

The nova will struggle without strengthening (seam or stitch welding is fine), a corsa is more likely tyo be rot free, but a nova can be sorted easily, and IMO looks better than a corsa, and as said the nova is lighter, so better power/weight ratio to start with :)
