i will be lowering my saloon i have got some 60mm spring and standerd shocks on the front and red dot shocks on the back, but i will be wanting to go lower wat will the best way to do this. i have seen 100mm spring for the back but what about the front.

wait until you can afford to do it properly with the right shocks to suit the springs :thumb:

Then look into coilovers for the front, and lowerings springs and shocks for the rear :)

thanks mate are the 100mm spring no good then?

it depends how you drive your car, there isn't exactly much travel on -100mm springs...another method of lowering the rear is to raise the stub axles up from the beam. This might be better if you want it really low

well to be honest its ganna be "low and slow" but will be drivern daily. and how do i raise the sub axle?

the stub axles on each end of the beam need cutting off the beam and a block welding in between. For example if they were raised up 40mm and -60mm lowering springs were used then you are effectively lowering the car 100mm

i wouldnt mind doing the stub axle mod for mine, want it pretty low aswell has anyone got pics?

any local fabricating shop should be able to do it for you. The biggest problem with this mod is ensuring that the stub axles are kept well aligned so the car tracks properly afterwards :)

ok i know a fella that builds drag cars and he is always choping and welding all sorts of axles and propshafts i think he will be the man :D
