Just want to know how important is it to put the proper rated springs on? as ive never had them but getting conserened. but want my 60mm drop but when you stick in some lower springs they dont need spring compressors to get them in, so if the suspension goes to high the spring can wobble about which is dodge! help please?

if the springs don't need compressing to fit, then you obviously aren't using matched shock absorbers...so that would be a good start :thumb:
I think an XE up front with all the extra bits over a smallblock is somewhere in the region of 40-50kg heavier, which is a fair difference in a Nova, so IMO its very important to fit the proper springs to prevent it nose-diving under braking, keep the car balanced and reducing body roll in corners

mmmm obviously.... means you assuming, never assume! lol. there really old avo ones when they sold red dampers and came with them, there like 10 years old or over. yeh i do notice wavyness on the motorway. just bought some Bilsteins though mmmmmm tasty. but need to get custom springs made.
